Update
So I have been slacking off lately in my updates. I've got great news about ALL of the dogs I've photographed so far. All but Bernice have found loving furever homes, but she's got some great families who have been looking at her! This includes the dogs from the Brazoria County Humane Society. I also just did a photo-shoot with a world famous pup - Falcor. The great staff at Stafford Oaks Veterinary Hospital allowed me behind the scenes to watch his latest checkup and medicated bath. It is amazing how great he was during the whole process and how far he has come! He had a severe infection that could have left him dead of septic shock in just 2 weeks if it trailed into his blood stream. On top of that, he had:
*Demodex mange
*Sarcoptic mange
*Swollen lymph nodes
*Open, bleeding infected skin over 100% of his body
*Lacerations all the way around his neck where something was embedded at one time
*Most likely anemic
I did not get a chance to see him before, but he is looking and acting great! He is such a lovable puppy. Since his checkup is extensive, here is a link to flickr with his photos :)
